Collection: Children's Wooden Tables and Chairs

A table at the right height changes what a child can do on their own. When the feet reach the floor and the elbows rest level with the tabletop, drawing, eating and building stop being things that happen on an adult's terms.

What height do I need?

The rule of thumb: seat height should be about a quarter of the child's height, and the tabletop roughly 27–30 cm above the seat. For a child of 90 cm that means a seat at about 22 cm and a table at about 50 cm.

An adjustable set is worth the difference in price if you want one table to last from toddler to school age. Our Luula and Julle sets adjust in stages and follow the child for years. A fixed-height table is the better buy if you are furnishing one specific stage.

Which type suits you?

Table and chair sets — the complete solution for drawing, crafts and eating.

Chairs on their own — when you already have a table, or need a second seat.

Floor tables — low tables for a toddler who still sits on the floor.

Convertible towers — a learning tower that folds into a table and chair, or a high chair. Two pieces of furniture in the space of one.

Art tables — tilting or multisensory tops for drawing and painting.

Materials

Solid wood and birch plywood, finished with child-safe water-based lacquer or oil. Made in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Rounded edges throughout.

Most sets ship flat-packed and assemble without special tools.
