The table stands at 51,5 cm and the chair seat at 31,5 cm, which is the pairing that lets a two-year-old sit with feet on the floor and elbows level with the tabletop. That is the height at which drawing, eating and building stop needing an adult.
Both pieces are cut from birch plywood in a family workshop in Latvia. The bunny silhouette is the whole design — the ears are the chair's backrest, the corners are rounded, and nothing is bolted on to catch a sleeve.
