Wooden Stacking Pyramid – Colourful Square Pyramid, Montessori Toy

A stacking toy stripped back to its essentials: square wooden plates in graded sizes that the child arranges from the largest to the smallest. There is one right order and the child finds it themselves — the classic Montessori idea of a material that corrects the child without an adult saying a word.

Coloured with natural pigments by Wooden Story in the Beskidy Mountains in Poland, and finished with beeswax and vegetable oils. One of the first toys that genuinely works from age one, and one of the few that still looks good on a shelf afterwards.
